Fortnite x One Piece: Release Date, Skins and the Treasure Hunters Mini-Season

One Piece arrives in Fortnite with the Treasure Hunters mini-season, which starts on Sunday, November 1, 2026. Epic Games made the collab official on October 24 by showing the Going Merry, the Straw Hat crew's first ship, in a teaser posted on Fortnite's official X account. After weeks of leaks, it's one of the most awaited crossovers in the game's history.

Fortnite One Piece release date

The Treasure Hunters mini-season starts on Sunday, November 1, 2026, right after the Override season (Chapter 7, Season 4) ends. Epic confirmed the date in its update notes: version 43.00 is planned for November 1.

One detail matters: Epic hasn't said yet whether the One Piece content will be there on day one or arrive later in the mini-season. A full reveal (collabs, Battle Pass, start time) was announced for Sunday, October 25 at 12 PM PT. We'll update this article as soon as it's out.

The official teaser: the Going Merry in the clouds

On Saturday, October 24, Fortnite's official account posted three straw hat emojis and a short video: the Going Merry sails out of moonlit clouds, then a "Fortnite | One Piece" logo appears. The same day, a pirate chest on the map opened in-game and played the trailer for players online.

The ship's figurehead is the anime version: the collab is based on the animated series, not Netflix's live-action show.

Which One Piece skins in Fortnite?

No One Piece skin is official yet. The characters players expect most are from the Straw Hat crew:

• Monkey D. Luffy, the captain, by far the most requested skin;
• Roronoa Zoro, the swordsman;
• Nami, the navigator (an image of her showed up in files found by dataminers);
• Sanji, the cook.

In recent big collabs, Epic sold licensed characters in the Item Shop and kept the Battle Pass for its own designs. Nothing is confirmed for One Piece: the V-Bucks price and the skin list will come with the official reveal.

Treasure Hunters: the six pirate crews

Treasure Hunters turns players into treasure seekers. Six pirate crews have been announced:

1. One Piece, the Straw Hat crew;
2. Jones and Hope, Fortnite's own characters;
3. A$AP Rocky;
4. Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto: Miku returns as a Sprite, and Teto joins as a Sprite too;
5. Lil Uzi Vert;
6. one last crew, not revealed yet.

Another teaser shows the Battle Bus turned into a pirate ship and a treasure map. Leaks mention temporary changes to the Chapter 7 map, with no confirmed list of locations.

How long does the mini-season last?

Epic hasn't given an end date. Mini-seasons usually last about a month: dataminers place the start of Chapter 8 in late November or early December 2026, but it isn't official.
