Fortnite Coupe de France schedule
All times are Paris time. Europe switches to winter time on October 25, so the October 28 final is played in winter time (CET).
| Phase | Date | Time | Who plays | Qualified |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Qualifier 1 (Open 1) | Wednesday, October 14 | 6-9 PM | All registered duos | Top 50 duos |
| Qualifier 2 (Open 2) | Monday, October 19 | 4-7 PM | All registered duos, except those already qualified | Top 50 duos |
| Semi-final | Wednesday, October 21 | 3-6 PM | 100 duos | 25 duos |
| Grand Final | Wednesday, October 28 | 7-10 PM | 50 duos | Winner |
The second qualifier was scheduled for 6 PM in the rulebook and was moved to 4 PM on the day, according to the Fortnite France account as relayed by the community. Both qualifiers are over: registration for the Fortnite Coupe de France 2026 is closed, and only the semi-final and the final remain.
The format, phase by phase
The two open qualifiers
Each qualifier lasts 3 hours. A new game starts every 5 minutes on WLS and each duo can play up to 11 games. The top 50 duos on the overall leaderboard advance to the semi-final. A player knocked out in the first qualifier could try again in the second with a different partner; a player who had already qualified could not.
Once a duo qualifies for the semi-final, its roster is locked until the end: swapping a player means disqualification.
The October 21 semi-final
The 100 qualified duos are split into two lobbies of 50 duos, randomly reshuffled before each of the 5 games. The key rule: a duo that gets a Victory Royale qualifies directly for the final and stops playing. Ten duos qualify this way, and the top 15 duos on the overall leaderboard (excluding winners) fill the remaining spots, for 25 qualified duos.
The October 28 Grand Final
The final brings together 50 duos, or 100 players in the same lobby, over 3 hours and 5 games: the 25 duos from the semi-final plus 25 duos invited based on the Power Ranking of French-speaking players (each invited player picks a French-speaking teammate). Finalists must have a public Fortnite Tracker profile showing at least 200 hours played, or at least one competition per month over the last six months.
Scoring system
The leaderboard adds placement and elimination points from every game. A game only counts if at least 60 players are in it.
| Placement | Points | Placement | Points |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st (Victory Royale) | 65 | 6th | 42 |
| 2nd | 56 | 10th | 32 |
| 3rd | 52 | 15th | 22 |
| 4th | 48 | 20th | 12 |
| 5th | 44 | 25th | 2 |
- Eliminations: 1 point in qualifiers, 2 points in the semi-final and the final.
- Semi-final bonus: 1,000 points for a Victory Royale, which guarantees qualification.
- Tiebreakers: total points, then number of wins, average eliminations, average placement, average survival time, and finally a coin toss.
This scoring rewards consistency: a Victory Royale is worth 65 points, while you would need 33 eliminations in the final to score the same. A duo that finishes top 5 every game can win without a single Victory Royale.
Prize pool: how much does the winner get?
The total prize pool is $50,000 (before tax), split across the top 10 duos of the final. Each prize is shared equally between the two players.
| Place | Duo prize | Per player |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | $20,000 | $10,000 |
| 2nd | $10,000 | $5,000 |
| 3rd | $7,000 | $3,500 |
| 4th | $5,000 | $2,500 |
| 5th | $2,500 | $1,250 |
| 6th | $1,500 | $750 |
| 7th to 10th | $1,000 | $500 |
Prizes are paid within 60 days, after any applicable tax and withholding. For players under 16, the money is placed in an escrow account.

Not to be confused with Inoxtag's "Coupe de France"
In November 2023, French YouTuber Inoxtag ran "La League", also billed as a Fortnite Coupe de France: a Zero Build duos tournament on PC and consoles, with a €200,000 prize pool and a final on November 24, 2023. The 2026 Coupe de France is a different event, run by War Legend, with building and on PC only.
Inoxtag is back this year with a different format, a creator show at Paris Games Week: it is all explained in our article on Inoxtag's Fortnite tournament, Back to OG.
