Question 1

How does a Fortnite tournament work on Winalia?

Accepted Answer

No bracket: for 3 hours, you queue up and face any other registered player, as many times as you want. Every match is a First to 3, win by 2, on a Winalia competitive map. A win earns +6 points, a loss costs 2, and the final leaderboard is based on points.

Question 2

Are Winalia's Fortnite tournaments free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, entry to the current tournaments is free. All you need is a Winalia account with your Epic Games account linked.

Question 3

How is a Winalia tournament cash prize split?

Accepted Answer

The cash prize is split in tiers across hundreds of places, not just the top 3. It is paid out automatically in W-Coins when the tournament ends (1 W-Coin = 1 €) and can be withdrawn like any match winnings.

Question 4

How do I sign up for a Winalia tournament in 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4?

Accepted Answer

The captain registers a complete Winalia team in the right format. All members are registered, the queue and matches are played as a team, and winnings are split equally.

Question 5

Can I face the same opponent several times in a tournament?

Accepted Answer

Not twice in a row: the queue always pairs you with a different player or team than your last opponent.
