Token or Winamatch? Same game, new name
Many players call competitive matches with an entry fee "token matches". It is the word used on Discord servers and across the community. It is a community expression, not an official one.
At Winalia we call them Winamatch, but the idea is the same: you challenge someone, you both pay the entry fee, you play, and the better player wins. The difference is that it happens on a dedicated map with clear rules, secured fees and a way to settle disputes.

How a Winamatch works
- 1
Link your Epic Games account
It takes about a minute and unlocks your free welcome credit.
- 2
Choose a format and an entry fee
Browse open matches or create your own. The entry fee and the prize are shown before you join.
- 3
Play on our competitive map
Join the lobby and play your match on a map built for fair competition.
- 4
Declare your result
If both players agree, the prize is awarded. In case of a dispute, you can vote to cancel and our team can review the match.
Fortnite 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 token matches
Every match shows its format, entry fee and prize before you join, so there are no surprises.
1v1 duels
The purest test of skill: box fights, edits and pure aim.
2v2 duos
Play with a friend and share the prize.
3v3 and 4v4 squads
Bring your own team and compete together. Team matches are played with your own players.
Winamatch rules in short

Join the lobby when the match is ready, and make sure your Epic Games account is linked and your region is correct.
Play on the match map
Every Winamatch is played on the Winalia competitive map with the same settings for everyone.
Declare your result honestly
The result is declared by the players. Disputes can be reviewed by our team.
Fair play only
Cheating and unfair play are not allowed. The full rulebook is public.
Token servers on Discord vs Winamatch
Token matches started on Discord servers, where players arrange matches in private messages. It works until the other player does not show up, does not pay, or disputes the result. Winamatch was built to remove that part.
| Token servers | Winamatch | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry fees | Handled between players | Handled by the platform |
| Map | Depends on the lobby | Dedicated competitive map |
| Disputes | Screenshots and arguments | Cancel vote and team review |
| Rules | Different on every server | Same public rules for everyone |
How to choose your entry fee
The entry fee is what each player puts in before the match, and the prize is shown next to it. A higher entry fee means a higher prize, and also more to lose. There is no good reason to start high.
Start with a low entry fee to learn the maps and the pace of matches. Only play with an amount you are comfortable losing, never with money you need, and never borrow to play. If you lose a match, take a break instead of trying to win it back right away.
Why play on a skill-based tournament platform?
Skill decides
Matches are decided by player performance only, not by luck.
Dedicated competitive maps
We build our own maps so matches are stable, balanced and free of bugs.
Secured entry fees
Entry fees and prizes are handled by the platform, not between players.
Region and platform matching
Your region and platform come from your profile, so you face players in the same conditions.
Public rules
Every match follows the same rules, and the full rulebook is public.
Winamatch or ranked?
Winamatch is a tournament with an entry fee and a prize. Ranked is free: you earn or lose points depending on your performance, and the top players of each season can win prizes. Many players do both, ranked to train and climb, Winamatch to compete for rewards.
| Winamatch | Ranked | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry | Entry fee | Free |
| Reward | Prize for each match | Season prizes for the top players |
| Formats | 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 | Solo ladder |
| Regions | EU and NA | EU only |
Who can play, and what to know
Winamatch is for players aged 18 and over, with a Fortnite account linked to Winalia. Paid-entry competitions are not available everywhere, and it is your responsibility to check that taking part is allowed where you live.
Prizes depend on your results and are never guaranteed. Only play with an amount you are comfortable with, and take a break if it stops being fun.
Tips to win more Fortnite token matches
Warm up before you join a match. Cold hands lose games.
Start with lower entry fees to learn the maps and the pace.
Pick the format that fits your strengths: 1v1 if you are a strong builder, 3v3 if you play well with teammates.
Read the match rules before you join.
Never chase a loss with a higher entry fee.
